St. Joseph's Foundation are delighted to announce that our facilities on our main campus Charleville, will now offer extended opening to individuals with a disability who are cared for at home and their family, on Sundays in 2026. Current confirmed dates for Spring are Sunday 15th February & Sunday 22nd March. All immediate family members are welcome to participate. You do not have to be linked with SJF services to attend. Activities on offer will include swim sessions, equine/horse-riding, Sports Hall/putting green, all weather pitch and track. We are delighted to also introduce Music Therapy on the 15th Feb opening. 'The Nest' will be open for check-in/check out. This is also where you can help yourself to tea/coffee/snacks or if you would like to bring your own lunch seating is available. Booking of Swim sessions and Music Therapy sessions must be completed through this page. You are not required to book in advance for equine sessions or other activities.
We are also opening our swimming pool facilities for open swim sessions on Saturdays for children linked with SJF CDNTs and their families, and invite you to make a booking on this page. Please note Saturdays are swim sessions only and open to SJF service users only. If you wish to attend equine on Saturdays, our main equine centre in Liskennett (eircode V35 X242) is open access for families on Saturdays and based 20 minutes from the Charleville campus.
