Anyone from the age of 18 who is willing to share their valuable time, energy, enthusiasm and skills within St. Joseph’s Foundation, provided they meet the criteria set out (i.e. Garda Clearance, application form, referees, an informal meeting with our Volunteer Co-ordinator and most importantly, a genuine interest in people who have a disability). No particular qualifications are needed, just a willingness to make a reliable commitment. Anyone aged between 16to 18 years old please search the Saturday Club, Work Experience or Best Buddie Programmes.

The amount of time is up to each volunteer. Volunteers are needed 24/7 within the service. We do, however, ask that you commit to at least an hour, twice a month for six months as a minimum.

Very simple - just set it in the list-header (the edit-button where you can change the title). 

The Volunteer Co-ordinator and St. Joseph’s staff and will work closely with you. You will have regular opportunities to review your experience.

But above all, the main reason people volunteer is so that they can make a difference in their communities and do something good for others.
