The Cork City Marathon 2027 is officially sold out but, St. Joseph’s Foundation has a limited number of charity places available for runners who want to take part in support of our work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of Ireland’s biggest running events while helping St. Joseph’s Foundation provide vital services, supports and opportunities to children and adults with disabilities and their families.
What You Need to Do
To apply for a St. Joseph’s Foundation charity place, you will need to:
- Complete the application process here
- Commit to an agreed fundraising target and Set up your Fundraising Page here
- Actively fundraise in support of St. Joseph’s Foundation ahead of the marathon.
- Take on the Cork City Marathon
Why Run for St. Joseph’s Foundation?

St. Joseph’s Foundation has been supporting children and adults with disabilities and their families since 1968. Our mission is to provide people with disabilities the opportunity to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential.
Every euro raised through your fundraising will help us continue providing essential supports and services, creating opportunities and helping the people we support to live full, meaningful and inclusive lives.
We have places for:
- Marathon - 42.195km/26.2 miles
- Half Marathon - 21.1km/3.1 miles
- 10KM
To avail of an SJF Charity place, we are asking each runner to commit to covering the cost of entry and fundraising for us.

Fundraising Targets:
€700 for the Full Marathon, in addition to the required deposit.
€500 for the Half Marathon, in addition to the required deposit.
€300 for the Half Marathon, in addition to the required deposit.
